Match of the Day!
It’s amazing how popular Stirling Gin has become in the world of sport!
While another busy weekend has just drawn to an end after SG was in attendance at events from the world of cricket and football, this coming week we will be pitching up at one of Scotland’s most famous athletics events….but more of that later!
So, let’s get back to the starting grid and on Friday night SG co-owner Cameron McCann was on duty at Doune Cricket Club where our big nosed botanical blend went down a treat with the players, supporters and very thirsty gin–lovers from the fascinatingly named ‘The Grazings’!
Interestingly enough the picture below features our glorious leader looking slightly worried….
No wonder when you consider that the 1866 founded club’s crest features, as the pic below shows, a pistol and a cricket bat…. !!!
Next up for us was the Barrhead Travel cruise show which was held at company HQ in Glasgow with some 400 of the travel world’s glitterati in attendance.
As you can see SG brand ambassador Stewart Patience made sure that a taste of Scotland was on everyone’s lips!
Our next stop is the Inchyra Grange Hotel where our friends at Falkirk FC were hosting their ‘Gala Awards Dinner’ and while we don’t like to blow our own trumpets, as you can see from the pic below, sometimes you have to pipe up!
This weekend Stirling Gin will once again team up with the Bairns when we are in attendance at the club’s much-anticipated ‘Ladies Day’ which should prove just the tonic!
Meanwhile the countdown is firmly on for Scotland’s first ever gin, rum and cocktail festival which is being hosted by SG’s sister company The Stirling Spirit Company, at historic Gean House, on Saturday June 16,
We are now down to our final 100 tickets so to avoid disappointment, for what at just £25 per ticket (plus booking fee), is sure to be one of the most memorable days on the summer festival scene, click on BUY HERE
The big sporting event of the week ahead is of course the Stirling Marathon where SG will be fulfilling its role as the event’s official gin. You will find us in Kings Park Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th April selling by the bottle and serving up G&T’s and our famous ‘Bloody Scotland’ Cocktail.
We hope it will be a case of watch this space because SG will be rubbing shoulders with Hollywood royalty in the shape of Outlander’s Sam Heughan, who will be running and is pictured below.
Fingers crossed Sam may even be running in full Highland regalia, one things for sure, if he is you can bet SG co-owner June McCann will be doing everything she can to make sure she gets a snap with Sam the Man!!
StirlingGin…isn’t it time you #GraspTheNettle!
