The Monday Mash-Up

   THE EASTER(N) PROMISE!

THE sun is shining this Monday afternoon and at Stirling Gin our spirits (it’s always good to a get a pun in early!) have been lifted by some great news that has come our way over the weekend!

For we can exclusively reveal that Stirling Gin has reached agreement to supply our wild nettle infused gin exclusively to Singapore’s uber smart Carlton Hotel Group.

Pictured below you see the first few cases that will shortly head east, as SG bids to tickle the taste buds of Singapore’s discerning gin lovers with our unique big-nosed botanical blend!

Of course, Easter is almost upon us and Stirling Gin are delighted to announce that we have teamed up with our friends at The Chocolate Gallery in Auchterarder, to create an Easter Egg with a difference!

Available from our Pop-Up Gin shops in Stirling’s The Thistles Centre and The St Enoch Centre in Glasgow from this Thursday until Sunday, you will be able to purchase a unique luxury Easter Egg hand-crafted exclusively for SG by Carol, ‘The Chocolate Gallery’s’ master chocolatier, which will be filled with our famous 5cl cheeky chappy Ginster bottle.

Easter Egg

At a bargain £15 this ‘eggcellent’ limited edition offer will only be available, as we may have mentioned earlier(!), at our two pop-up shops between Thursday (March 22) and Sunday (March 25) this week…so hurry, the interest on social media has been massive!!!

Regular reads of The Monday Mash-Up will know that a Stirling Gin judging panel comprising of co-owners Cameron and June McCann and SG’s shy & retiring media man Bert Mitchell attended New College Cumbernauld, where Art & Design students presented a variety of briefs as they bid to provide the designs for SG’s new liqueur range.

Well we can exclusively reveal that the lucky recipient of the £100 winner’s cheque was a talented young lady called Stephanie Wilson who is pictured below with Cameron.

While there was no doubting the quality of the overall entry, the panel unanimously voted for Stephanie’s creation and we look forward to sharing it with you later.

Now a date for your diary!

On Friday (March 23) tickets for this year’s Stirling Gin Festival will go on general release!

Briefs for the most sought-after Gin Festival on the Scottish craft gin circuit are priced at a bargain £27 (plus booking fee) per session for the triple tippling soirée, which will once again be held at the iconic Stirling Highland Hotel on Friday, November 2 and Saturday, November 3.

Our very own Queen of Gin, June McCann, is promising this year’s event will assume the mantle of Scotland’s foremost craft-gin festival, after last year’s event drew a record 1,000 gin-lovers over its twin-sessions, taking over £30,000 in off-sales while generating around £100,000 for the local Stirlingshire economy.

June said: “We were thrilled with the figures and the fun that the fourth annual Stirling Gin Festival generated but I have no doubt in saying that the 2018 event will be both bigger and better!

“We will be lifting our number of exhibitors from 24 to 30 and the increase won’t just be in numbers but in quality and variety,” vowed June.

With 120 gins set to be presented for tasting compared to 100 last year, one things for sure and that is the 2017 record of 1203 bottles sold is sure to fall this November!

Stirling Gins…. isn’t it time you #GraspTheNettle!
