IT’S been another weekend to remember for Stirling Gin thanks to our appearance at the 400-person sell-out Dunbar Gin Fayre!
As you can see from the picture below SG brand ambassador Stewart Patience was in full flow as he made sure our unique wild nettle infused blend went down a treat with patrons who were delighted to gin and bear it!
We are delighted that Stirling Gin has been asked to join the Gin Fayre’s list of core exhibitors, in what will see SG appearing at Fayres from the Lake District to Ayr, as we continue to grow our brand both South of the border and back home, with our next appearance being at the gin fayre in historic Durham on Saturday, April 14th.
SG’s growing profile down south has also been further heightened by the exclusive five-figure deal we have signed to supply gin to The Great Run Company.
The agreement will see SG supply our delicious craft gin at eight of The Great Run Company’s events on either side of the border, including the blue ribbon ‘Great North Run’, in Gateshead, which was established in 1981 and is now the biggest half-marathon race in the world!
The ‘GNR’ was founded by the living athletics legend that is Brendan Foster, with household names like Sir Mo Farah a four-time winner, Paula Ratcliffe a previous winner of the ladies’ event and over 1million runners, including Kevin Keegan, when he was the England football team captain, having participated in this amazing run.
As you can see from the pic below we have already been extensively testing our prized product on athletes the length and breadth of the country…and results have been good!
Now regular readers of ‘The Monday Mash-Up’ will recall that last week co-owner Cameron McCann was appearing ‘live & dangerous’ at historic Gargunnock House where the Camster was providing a bespoke gin tasting.
You might also remember we mentioned our glorious leader was following in the footsteps of the Polish composer and virtuoso pianist Frédéric Chopin!
Well here at SG we like exclusives and below we have a picture exclusive of the very same piano on which ‘Fast Freddy’ tinkled the ivories….and can you believe it, but it looks like ‘obywatel’ (Polish for Mr) Chopin was partial to a drop of our big nosed uber blend!!
Now we realise this may get on your wick, but we have more good news for you!
Yes, the exclusive citrus scented Stirling Gin candle (pictured below) is now back in stock and for just £19.99, you can not only light up your ‘des res’ but create a delicious heavenly ambience that is perfect to enjoy a ‘gintastic’ moment with the one you love…just make sure you don’t get guttered (get it?!!) We always like to end the Monday Mash-Up with a look forward to future events and we are pleased to announce that we will be providing a Gin & Cocktail Master Class at Stirling County RFC, on Saturday March 10.
For just £18 you will be able to enjoy an SG & tonic and two of our premium gin-based cocktails and given the inside story on how to make a mouth water with our cocktails!
Afterwards you can enjoy free entry to the ‘Stirling County’s Bouncing’ fest that will include live big screen coverage of the Ireland versus Scotland Six Nations encounter…. Book your space here
But, alas it’s time to end this week’s Mash-Up and with the nation firmly gripped in the jaws of ‘The Beast from the East’ we though we’d try and warm you up by turning your thoughts to those lazy, hazy days of summer, we hope will soon be with us again!
For on Saturday, June 16, at historic Gean House in Clackmannanshire, SG will be appearing at Scotland’s first ever ‘Gin, Rum & Cocktail Festival’
This event, which, as you can see from the pic below, is set amidst lush pinstriped lawns, nestled in the rolling Ochills and with one of Scotland’s foremost arts & crafts mansions providing a truly unique backdrop, is already on course for a sell-out.
With a barbecue also provided that’s no real surprise, so for a bargain-priced ticket at just £25, if you want to meet the makers and sample over 60 of the very best flavours in gin, rum and cocktails, click on BUY HERE
Anyway, that’s all folks!
